Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Field Commissioning & Service Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing technical support, maintenance, and repair services for parking ventilation equipment at client sites. The successful candidate will possess strong electrical and mechanical knowledge, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work individually. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring optimal operation of systems across multiple locations.
£42k-£50k depending on experience.
Based in the North - Required to travel across the north (Yorkshire, Lancashire & Midlands).
Responsibilities
- Commission, service and maintain ventilation equipment across northern England, ensuring compliance with safety standards and operational specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals to facilitate accurate diagnostics and repairs.
- Liaise with the office based team to understand the customer needs, deliver exceptional customer service, and ensure client satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving.
- Document all service activities accurately in reports and logs for future reference and compliance purposes.
- Assist in the development of maintenance procedures and technical documentation to improve operational efficiency.

Qualifications
- Proven experience working with electrical systems, schematics, and mechanical components.
- Demonstrable mechanical knowledge with a focus on maintenance practices in industrial environments.
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken, with strong communication skills essential.
- Ability to work independently in diverse environments while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
- Valid driving licence is required as travel between client sites will be necessary.
- A recognised qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering. ECS card or higher qualification.
