FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER – NORTH-EAST
Specialist Dealer Service Engineer – Modern Lorry Cranes
Interested in becoming a specialist Dealer Service Engineer, working with modern industry-leading lorry cranes?
This is a rare opportunity to join our respected aftersales team, where you’ll be trained to become a specialist Service Engineer maintaining and repairing some of the most advanced lifting equipment on the market. Hours
Our field service engineers work 40 hours a week, between our operational hours of 07:00–18:00 Monday–Friday.
Additional overtime (paid at a premium) is available should you want to earn more.
Key Duties
Your role will include:
- Travelling across the region delivering on-site engineering support to our brand of lorry loader cranes, including:
- Regular crane servicing
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, electrical & software faults on customer sites
- Performing LOLER inspections and safety checks to ensure compliance with industry standards
- Providing expert technical support and training to customers

The Ideal Applicant
Experience as a Service Engineer maintaining similar hydraulic lifting equipment (such as material handling machines, forklifts, agricultural machinery, powered access equipment, or taillifts) is required.
Applicants should hold a recognised apprenticeship, City & Guilds (C&G), or NVQ in Plant Maintenance or a similar qualification.
- A full UK driving licence is essential.
