The Role
This role is an excellent opportunity to join our Customer Experience Team as a Field Service Engineer.
- Full product and company training will be provided.
- Based onsite in our modern facility located behind Glasgow airport with easy access to the main transport links.
- You will travel to prebooked customer visits to conduct field service visits to install, service, and repair Teknek equipment in the UK and Europe. Full passport and driving licence are essential.
- Answering technical queries in person, on the phone and by email.
- Ensure that service calls are resolved promptly and in full.
- Provide on-site equipment training to colleagues and customers.
- When not at customer sites, role is based in Teknek facility.

Standard Hours of work are (these can be adjusted to suit travel needs)
- Monday to Thursday 08:00 – 16:00, Friday 08:00 – 13:00
- Early finish Friday (subject to the needs of the business)
Travel
- All travel, accommodation, food will be paid by the company
- Subject to the company travel policy
- All visits will be scheduled and be prebooked
Desirable Skills And Experience
- Minimum 1 year's experience as a Field Service Engineer
- HNC in Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering
- Keen to learn about new technologies
- Good attention to detail, decision making and problem-solving skills
- Enjoys fault finding and suggesting and implementing improvements
- Not afraid to challenge the status quo
- Ability to communicate with personnel at all levels of the business
- Able to use own initiative with the ability to work on their own and as part of a team
- This is a Customer facing role, you will have an open and friendly nature
- Computer literate with a good knowledge of Microsoft packages including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Second Language an advantage, but not essential
