Field Service Engineer – Linde Material Handling
About the Role
Linde Material Handling, a global leader in forklift trucks and warehouse equipment, is seeking talented Field Service Engineers in postcode areas PR, FY, LA.
As a Field Service Engineer, you’ll enjoy a dynamic, ever-changing role supporting our range of material handling products—from pallet trucks to VNA and automated solutions.
Key Responsibilities
The role combines hands-on technical work and problem-solving to diagnose and resolve equipment issues while ensuring peak performance. Your responsibilities include:
- Traveling to client sites to service and maintain Linde forklifts and material handling equipment
- Performing preventative maintenance to optimise fleet reliability
- Building strong customer relationships through exceptional technical support
- Conducting fault diagnosis, repairs, and installations
- Ensuring customer operations run smoothly with minimal downtime
Requirements & Qualifications
Essential Skills & Experience
- Experience as a vehicle technician, mechanical engineer, or forklift technician
- Familiarity with powered access equipment, plant machinery, motor vehicles, or industrial cleaners
- A full UK driving licence (essential for site travel)
- Comfortable working autonomously and as part of a team

Desirable Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 in engineering or a related discipline (not compulsory but advantageous)
- Ability to use IT equipment and the latest diagnostic tools

- Option for a 40-hour or 45-hour weekday workweek (Mon–Fri)
