Field Service Engineer Job Vacancy

Field Service Engineer - Compressed Air Systems

Based in the Midlands | Package: Attractive salary package available, tailored to experience and industry knowledge.

Air Kraft Ltd is expanding, and we’re looking for skilled and motivated Field Service Engineers to join our expert team. If you’re passionate about problem-solving, thrive on variety, and want to be part of a company where your work truly matters - we want to hear from you.

As a Field Service Engineer, you'll play a key role in supporting our customers’ compressed air systems, including Nitrogen generators and some process cooling equipment - from installation to ongoing maintenance - ensuring reliability and performance. Our customers range from small businesses to large enterprises, primarily across the Midlands but occasionally across the UK.

This is more than just a hands-on role. You'll be a technical ambassador for Air Kraft, representing our core values of customer service, integrity, professionalism, and teamwork in every interaction. You’ll also work closely with our Service Manager and Sales team to improve service quality and identify new opportunities.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Installing, servicing, and maintaining compressed air systems across a variety of sites.
  • Acting as the trusted go-to expert for our customers, offering advice and technical solutions.
  • Maintaining detailed and accurate service reports and documentation.
  • Collaborating with the Service Manager to identify improvements in service delivery.
  • Supporting the Sales team by spotting potential new business opportunities on-site.
  • Ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety protocols and customer procedures.
  • Proactively sharing technical knowledge and best practices with the wider team.
  • Keeping your work organised, clean, and aiming for first-time fix resolutions.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
