Job Description: Field Service Technician
What you will do
We are seeking a dynamic and diligent individual who combines technical expertise with exceptional customer service skills to work as a Field Service Technician. Your responsibilities will include:
- Installing and configuring vehicle and people access solutions by:
- Connecting, commissioning, and maintaining SKIDATA equipment, IT hardware/software, network devices, EV charging, and other access control devices.
- Ensuring seamless operation of our access solutions while delivering reliable maintenance, repairs, and world-class customer service.
- Escalating technical issues to the Technical Services Team and collaboratively resolving them.
- Completing customer hardware and software training remotely via Cornerstone software.

### Qualifications & Requirements
We are looking for candidates with:
- Proven experience in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting IT hardware, software, and possessing basic electrical knowledge.
- Experience with installation and firmware updates (using Linux) alongside software configuration of access control devices.
- Basic Network Technology expertise, including:
- Understanding of TCP/IP protocols
- Ability to diagnose and resolve network-related technical issues.
- A valid UK driver’s licence and the flexibility to work in:
- Car parks, stadiums, and construction environments.
- A specified geographic area with possible national travel and occasional overnight stays.

Duration: Permanent Department: Service Compensation: £27,000 - £28,500 per annum (GBP)
