Are you a Mobile Plant Fitter with mechanical and/or electrical experience seeking a field-based role that offers door-to-door pay, regular overtime, and excellent long-term career stability with a growing engineering company?

Do you have experience working on heavy plant, recycling equipment, conveyors, shredders, crushers, or similar industrial machinery, and want a role where no two days are the same?

This well-established engineering company specialises in the service, maintenance, installation, and repair of industrial and mobile plant equipment across the UK. Due to continued growth, they are looking to add a skilled Mobile Plant Fitter to their field service team covering customer sites across the North West.

In this role, you will travel to customer sites carrying out servicing, fault finding, repairs, and installations on a range of mechanical and electrical plant equipment. The position will also involve fabrication work and welding repairs, so experience in these areas would be highly beneficial.

The company requires flexibility around shift patterns and working hours, but provides excellent overtime opportunities and door-to-door pay.

The Role:

  • Service, maintain, and repair mobile and industrial plant equipment
  • Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults
  • Carry out fabrication and welding repairs where required
  • Travel to customer sites across Manchester and surrounding areas
  • Door-to-door paid travel
  • Company vehicle provided

The Person:

  • Mobile Plant Fitter, Field Service Engineer, or similar background
  • Mechanical or electrical experience
  • UK Driving License
