We are now recruiting a talented and driven Field Service Engineer to join our team in the Midlands region.

As the Field Service Engineer, you will act as our representative to retail clients, delivering expert technical support, maintenance, and repairs for our industrial weighing and labelling equipment. Your skills in diagnosing and resolving issues efficiently will ensure minimal downtime, cementing customer trust in our products and services.


Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver on-site installation, maintenance, and repairs for Bizerba weighing and labelling systems in retail environments.
  • Diagnose technical faults quickly and accurately, minimising equipment downtime with your expertise.
  • Collaborate with the service team and customer support to maintain seamless communication and high customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain detailed service records, reports, and documentation according to company procedures.
  • Offer customer training and technical guidance to improve user knowledge and equipment utilisation.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies in all field operations.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to elevate service quality and operational efficiency.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer or similar technical role, preferably in retail or industrial weighing/labeling.
  • Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills, with an understanding of industrial equipment.
  • Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
  • Valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively within the East Midlands.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.
  • Relevant technical qualifications (e.g., NVQ, HNC) in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related fields; advantageous.
  • Experience with remote diagnostics and basic IT skills preferred.
