A growing engineering business is seeking a Field Service Engineer based in Surrey, with coverage extending to the Southern Home Counties and South East London. The position focuses on maintaining large-scale industrial equipment used in commercial and passenger transport environments.
This home-based role offers the flexibility to manage your own workload, plan routes, and operate with minimal supervision.
Core activities include maintenance and repair, along with optional training in installations for engineers looking to expand their expertise and advance their career.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain large-scale industrial equipment in transport environments
- Carry out routine maintenance
- Conduct repairs when needed
- Perform problem-solving and fault-finding
- (Optional) Travel for installations after targeted training
- Supervise and guide junior engineers (as experience grows)
Ideal Candidate Qualifications
- Proven experience in a field service, maintenance, or related engineering role
- Familiarity with single and 3-phase electrics
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Proven self-motivation with the ability to manage tasks independently
- Performer well working singly and flexibly across a varied region
