Field Service Engineer – Hereford & Surrounding Areas
Salary
- £35,124 – £39,807 per annum (starting salary varies based on experience)

As a Field Service Engineer, you’ll:
- Visit customers in their homes across Hereford and surrounding areas
- Diagnose, repair, and resolve home appliance issues
- Toggle efficiently through tasks while updating customers and teams on your progress
- Monitor and report stock levels in your van daily
This role blends technical know-how with great customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical fixes: Take on-site appliance repairs with efficiency and precision.
- Customer care: Ensure satisfaction with timely updates and clear communication.
- Stock management: Track and replenish parts and tools in your van.
- Sales upselling (bonus-rewarded): Recommend high-value products and associated services to customers.
- Vehicle & document management: Organise paperwork, vehicle safety checks, and trip preparation.

Must have a full, valid driving licence for nationwide visits.
Salary & Benefits
Starting Pay
- £35,124/year (if applying with no relevant hands-on experience)
- £39,807/year (minimum of 6 months recent white goods engineering experience)

Physical & Technical Requirements
⚠ Must meet health & safety standards (proof of capability tested):
- Ability to lift and manoeuvre heavy objects.
- Navigate restricted spaces with hand dexterity.
- Maintain normal colour vision (to distinguish live/neural/run wires).
