Field Service Engineer (Manufacturing)

£35,000 - £45,000 + Training + Company Vehicle + Progression + Overtime + Door-to-Door + Company Benefits

Oxford, Oxfordshire (Southwest/Midlands patch)

Are you a Field Service Engineer or similar from a Manufacturing background looking for a varied and autonomous role within a long-established manufacturer of production equipment undergoing a period of exciting growth who offer full industry training and door-to-door pay as you cover a regional patch?

Since the 1970s, this multi-million £ company has been providing production equipment such as conveyors and bar feeders to the manufacturing industry with a customer base ranging from household names to bespoke, tight-knit businesses. Through continued success, they have established a global presence, and have over 50 employees and due to continued growth, they are now looking to grow their friendly Service team.

In this field-based role, you will receive your weekly schedule via a company laptop before travelling to customer sites across the Southwest and Midlands with weekly stay aways required. You will carry out primarily PPM (70%) as well as reactive maintenance (30%), and occasional installations. Alongside this, you will receive ongoing in-house and manufacturer-led training to develop your electrical and mechanical knowledge of the company's equipment and to continually upskill yourself.

This varied role would suit a Field Service Engineer or similar from a Manufacturing background looking for a dynamic role with regular travel and overnight stays within a specialist manufacturer offering lots of overtime and door-to-door pay to greatly increase your earnings.

The Role:

  • PPM (70%), Reactive Maintenance (30%) and occasional installations on a range of Production machinery - primarily conveyors and bar feeders
  • Attend ongoing in-house and manufacturer-led full industry training
  • 40-hour week with overtime paid at an enhanced rate and door-to-door pay
  • Cover a patch across the Southwest and Midlands, including 2-3 overnight stays per week

The Person:

  • Field Service Engineer or similar
  • Manufacturing background
  • Full clean UK Diving Licence
