Your role
Your mission as the Field Service Engineer is to provide expert repair services for our technology solutions, delivering unmatched customer satisfaction and upholding the highest standards of safety. You are committed to ensuring the performance and longevity of your customers technology through your expertise. Your work is important for supporting the operational success and technological advancement of industries relying on these technologies. This role is based in the Midlands UK
Your Day To Day
- Represent Atlas Copco on-site with professionalism and a customer-first approach
- Install, service, and troubleshoot air compressors, dryers, gas generators, and related equipment
- Diagnose technical faults and delivering expert repairs with safety and efficiency
- Use digital tools to log service activity, maintain up-to-date records, and report on performance
- Participate in our on-call schedule and supporting urgent service needs when required
- Attend live training and regular team sessions to keep your knowledge and skills sharp
- Act as a brand ambassador and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement or added value
- Contribute to a culture of collaboration, safety, and innovation across the wider service team

Your Skills And Experience
Key qualifications and attributes include:
- Hands-on experience in industrial, mechanical, electrical, or engineering field roles, including troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Relevant mechanical or electrical qualifications, or equivalent practical experience demonstrating competency.
- Comfortable and confident in using standard IT applications and quick to adopt new digital tools and systems for service management.
- Possession of a valid UK driving licence with a good driving record (no more than 3 points).
- Demonstrated adaptability, proactive problem-solving skills, and a strong safety mindset in a fast-moving work environment.
- Excellent communication skills with a customer-oriented approach and enthusiasm for resolving technical challenges.
