We’re recruiting a customer-focused, technically curious, and proactive Field Service Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys solving problems, building strong customer relationships, and working with innovative healthcare technology that has a real impact on patient outcomes.

What You'll Be Doing
As a Field Service Engineer, you will act as a trusted technical expert supporting our customers across your territory, ensuring their diagnostic systems perform at their very best.
You will be North London based for this position.
Responsibilities Include:
- Install and commission Abbott Molecular systems at customer sites.
- Deliver preventative maintenance, hardware servicing, software upgrades, and system repairs.
- Troubleshoot technical issues remotely and on-site, providing timely and effective solutions.
- Support customers through training and guidance on system updates and enhancements.
- Work closely with Application Specialists, Customer Support, and Commercial teams to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
- Build strong relationships with laboratories and healthcare professionals, becoming a valued partner to our customers.
- Participate in technical workshops, expert forums, and service meetings to continually develop your knowledge and expertise.
- Provide service support across your designated territory while occasionally assisting colleagues in other regions when required.
- Act as an ambassador for Abbott, representing our values and commitment to improving lives through science and innovation.

Requirements and Background:
- A degree, HNC/HND, diploma, or equivalent qualification in a scientific, engineering, biomedical, healthcare, laboratory, or related discipline.
- Previous experience in technical support, engineering, diagnostics, healthcare technology, laboratory environments, or customer-facing technical roles would be advantageous.
- Strong English communication skills.
- Additional language skills are beneficial but not essential.
- Full driving licence and willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory.
