We’re recruiting a customer-focused, technically curious, and proactive Field Service Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys:

What You’ll Be Doing
As a Field Service Engineer, you’ll act as a trusted technical expert, supporting our customers across your North London territory to ensure their diagnostic systems perform at their best.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and commission Abbott Molecular systems at customer sites
- Deliver preventative maintenance, hardware servicing, software upgrades, and system repairs
- Troubleshoot technical issues—both remotely and on-site—providing timely and effective solutions
- Support customers through training, guidance, and system updates
- Collaborate with Application Specialists, Customer Support, and Commercial teams to deliver an outstanding customer experience
- Build strong relationships with laboratories and healthcare professionals as a valued partner
- Participate in technical workshops, expert forums, and service meetings to continuously develop your expertise
- Provide service support across your designated territory, occasionally assisting colleagues in other regions
- Act as an ambassador for Abbott, embodying our commitment to improving lives through science and innovation

About You
Requirements & Background
- A relevant degree, HNC/HND, diploma, or equivalent qualification in:
- Scientific
- Engineering
- Biomedical
- Healthcare
- Laboratory-related fields
- Previous experience in:
- Technical support
- Engineering
- Diagnostics
- Healthcare technology
- Laboratory environments
- Customer-facing technical roles
- Strong English communication skills (additional languages are beneficial but not essential)
- Full driving licence
- Willingness to travel 75% of the time throughout the assigned territory
