About the Role
Are you a Service or Maintenance Engineer with a Mechanical / Electrical background seeking a dynamic, field-based position within a global leading packaging machinery manufacturer?
Our client—the UK subsidiary of a multi-billion turnover manufacturing group—specialises in automation and machinery for sectors like F&B, e-commerce, and automotive. With rapid growth, they’re expanding their team to handle an increasing workload across regional sites.
This ** varied role** involves:
- Conducting preventive maintenance (PPM), breakdown repairs, and servicing of automation & manufacturing machinery across multiple sites.
- On-call (telephone-only) support to increase earnings—with overtime (OTB) available up to £45,000.
- Cutting-edge training, including specialist machinery & software (UK & international opportunities for development).
- Competitive company support (van, bonus scheme, overnight stays—40/year estimated).

The Role
- Undertake PPM, breakdown & servicing on packaging/commercial machinery.
- Cover regional sites (primarily within 2 hours, with occasional overnight stays).
- Optional on-call (phone-based) with bonus potential to boost earnings.
- Training provided in specialist machinery, advanced software & industry best practices (UK and international assignments available).
- Company van available for personal & Professional Use.
The Person
You’ll qualify if you: ✔ Are a Service or Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer with Mechanical / Electrical background (or equivalent experience). ✔ Are field-service minded and willing to undertake overnight stays as needed. ✔ Seek a protessional growth experience in a leading manufacturer with training investments. ✔ Align with locations including: Birmingham, Worcester, Bristol, Swindon, Cardiff, Bournemouth, regional patch.
