Are you a Field Service Engineer with diesel and gas engine experience looking to join a market-leading power generation company offering specialist training, overtime opportunities and clear career progression?
A leading international power generation specialist delivering low-carbon energy and battery storage solutions. Established in 80's, the business designs, builds and maintains systems including gas engines, CHP, biogas, landfill gas and large-scale batteries. They work with public sector bodies, industrial clients and energy developers to deliver turnkey projects supporting energy efficiency and net zero goals. With a strong international presence and multi-million-pound turnover, the organisation is known for its technical expertise and delivery of reliable, sustainable energy solutions.
In this role, you will:
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance, servicing, and installations on gas and diesel engine systems across customer sites throughout the UK.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults, undertake local and remote fault-finding, and complete repairs in line with manufacturer specifications and service schedules.

This role would suit a Field Service Engineer with:
- Diesel and gas engine experience from a power generation or industrial background.
- Looking to join a leading energy technology business working across UK sites on low-carbon energy and battery storage projects.
The Role:
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on gas and diesel engine systems across UK sites.
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults using local and remote fault-finding techniques.
- Install, service and repair engines and ancillary equipment to manufacturer standards.
- Liaise with customers, contractors and internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
The Person:
- Experience in field service engineering with gas and diesel engine systems.
- Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide.
- Happy to partake in on-call rota.
