What you will be doing
- To provide a technical service to customers, including the maintenance and repair of Ricoh Graphic Communication, Print products and Pre and Post Processing equipment. To ensure customers receive a satisfactory service in line with agreed service level agreements.
- Provide a technical service for both installation and de-installation of Ricoh Graphic Communication products, ensuring that project milestones for installations and de-installations are achieved efficiently meeting contractual obligations. Ensuring customers are kept up to date on the progress made.
- Responsible for the timely escalation of technical problems as specified within Service processes, to ensure the downtime of equipment is kept to a minimum.
- To maximise revenue by identifying additional business and professional service opportunities, whilst carrying out day-to-day duties. Ensuring these opportunities are reported through the correct channels.
- Responsible for supporting the management of business relationships with customers and end users in order to maximise customer satisfaction.
- Management and control of vehicle and account stock, to improve first time fix levels to customers, and to minimise stock losses.
- Out of hours and shift working will be required as the business need dictates including weekends and Public Holidays.

You will ideally have
- Previous experience in a Field Technician role, preferably within the Production Print sector
- Excellent technical knowledge of the full range of RGC product range
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Proven fault finding technique
- Excellent knowledge of electrical/ mechanical engineering
- Skilled in the use of electronic diagnostic tools
- Good product knowledge
- Proven fault finding technique
- Ability to read and understand complex mechanical instructions
- IT literate
- Networking capabilities
- Excellent Interpersonal and customer handling skills
- Excellent knowledge of Company Service procedures
