What You Will Be Doing
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide a technical service to customers, including:
- Maintenance and repair of Ricoh Graphic Communication, Print products and Pre/Post-Processing equipment
- Ensuring satisfactory service in line with agreed service level agreements (SLAs)
- Perform installation and de-installation of Ricoh Graphic Communication products, ensuring:
- Project milestones are met efficiently
- Contractual obligations are fulfilled
- Customers are kept updated on progress
- Responsible for escalation of technical problems as per service processes to:
- Minimise equipment downtime
- Ensure timely resolution
- Maximise revenue by:
- Identifying additional business and professional service opportunities
- Reporting opportunities through correct channels
- Support business relationship management with:
- Customers
- End users
- Goal: Maximise customer satisfaction
- Manage and control:
- Vehicle stock
- Account stock to:
- Improve first-time fix levels
- Minimise stock losses
- Operate in out-of-hours and shift roles as required, including:
- Weekends
- Public holidays

Ideal Skills & Experience
Seek applicants with:
- Previous experience in a Field Technician role, preferably within Production Print
- Excellent technical knowledge of the entire Ricoh Graphic Communication (RGC) product range
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Proven fault-finding techniques
- Deep expertise in:
- Electrical engineering
- Mechanical engineering
- Skill in using electronic diagnostic tools
- Strong product knowledge
- Ability to read and understand complex mechanical instructions
- IT literacy
- Excellent networking capabilities
- Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills
- Familiarity with company service procedures
