Field Service Engineer

We're recruiting a Field Service Engineer, specifically someone with experience working on Lifts (Access or Through the Floor) to join our team, covering Glasgow and the surrounding areas.

You'll spend your day installing, servicing and repairing our lifts and stairlifts in customers' homes. Just as important as technical ability is your drive to do a great job, manage your own workload and deliver a positive, professional customer experience.

This is a role for someone who enjoys owning their day, planning their time effectively and pushing themselves to succeed. A valid UK driving licence is required as you'll be travelling within your region, and you'll take part in a 1 in 4 oncall rota, with additional payments for callouts.

Schedule

  • Monday to Thursday: 8:00am - 4:30pm
  • Friday: 8:00am - 3:30pm
  • Regular, consistent overtime available
  • Weekend availability
  • 1 in 4 oncall rota for evenings and weekends (paid if called out)

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
