Key Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair equipment or machinery at customer sites
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues to minimise downtime
  • Perform routine servicing and preventative maintenance
  • Provide clear and professional support to customers, ensuring high satisfaction
  • Complete service reports, documentation, and updates in line with company procedures
  • Train end users on basic equipment operation and maintenance
  • Liaise with internal teams (e.g. technical support, parts, and scheduling) to ensure efficient service delivery
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards on-site
  • Travel to various customer locations as required, sometimes at short notice

  • Strong technical and mechanical aptitude
  • Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Customer-focused with a professional attitude
  • Competent in reading technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics
  • Basic IT skills for reporting and system updates
  • Flexibility to travel and adapt to varying work environment

Experience

  • Previous experience in a Field Service, Maintenance, or Engineering role
  • Hands-on experience with installing, maintaining, or repairing technical equipment or machinery
  • Familiarity with health and safety procedures and working on customer sites
  • Experience in customer-facing roles is advantageous
  • A full, clean driving licence is often required
