Job Description
As a Field Service Engineer – UPS (Data Center Segment), you will play a key role in delivering high-quality service, technical expertise, and customer support for Delta’s Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) and related DCS (Data Center Solutions) products. This role involves both hands-on technical work and knowledge leadership — developing deep expertise, sharing best practices across EMEA, supporting customers with complex issues, and contributing to continual product and service improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform on-site diagnostics, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of Delta UPS and data-center power products.
- Lead complex service activities including Level 2–Level 5 commissioning, system start-ups, performance testing, and verification of correct installations.
- Provide escalated technical support for critical customer incidents.
- Conduct root-cause analysis and feed insights back to engineering and product teams.
- Deliver technical training programs to Delta field service engineers, partners, and customers.
- Develop training materials, troubleshooting guides, and best-practice procedures.
- Serve as a subject-matter expert for DCS products.
- Create and maintain service-related technical documentation.
- Define scope of work for installation, commissioning, and maintenance.

Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar.
- Data-center or mission-critical UPS experience.
- Familiarity with SCADA/BMS systems.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience with UPS or power-electronics systems.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and power infrastructure.
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting high-power systems.
- Willingness to travel across EMEA.
- Fluent in English; additional languages beneficial.
