Field Service Engineer

Field Service Engineer – 4 on 4 off

Location: Field-Based (Chester/Wrexham)

Salary: £36,419 starting + Up to £1,000 onboarding bonus + Performance Bonuses

Company: NoteMachine (A Brink’s Company)

Shifts: 4 Days On / 4 Days Off | 09:00 – 20:30

The Opportunity

We are expanding our national engineering team, seeking a field service engineer who is:

  • Hands-on with troubleshooting and repairs
  • People-focused with excellent customer service skills
  • Skilled in electro-mechanical repair or ATM maintenance (preferred but not essential)
  • Passionate about solving real-world technical challenges

What You’ll Do

  • Perform second-line break-fix and preventive maintenance on Triton, Wincor, and NCR ATMs
  • Collaborate with customers to identify and resolve technical issues quickly
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring all stakeholders receive respectful, professional support
  • Accurately document all service transactions and repair records
  • Stay updated with latest product knowledge through training and development
  • Conduct quality control checks to ensure repairs meet company standards

What You’ll Need

✔ Field Service Engineering experience (preferably with electro-mechanical systems) ✔ ATM experience is ideal but not essential ✔ Driving licence (UK, max 6 points) ✔ Problem-solving mindset with a first-time-right approach ✔ Clear communication & customer service skills ✔ Willingness to travel and work weekends/holidays on rotation ❌ No live/spent IIVs or bankruptcies in the last 10 years
