Field Service Engineer
Job Title: Field Service Engineer
Location: Within an hour of Glastonbury
Salary: £40,000 basic.
OTE: £60,000 +
Shift: Days
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Field Service Engineer to join a well-established engineering business that specialises in large-scale industrial processing machinery. This position offers the chance to work for a company known for its strong reputation, excellent customer base and commitment to investing in its engineering team. This role would suit a capable Field Service Engineer with strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills who enjoys working independently while providing excellent customer support. In this role, you will be responsible for attending customer sites to carry out planned maintenance, servicing and reactive breakdown repairs on industrial processing machinery. You will support installation work, fault finding and component replacement while ensuring machinery is operating efficiently, safely and with minimal downtime.

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Field Service Engineer
- Strong electrical fault finding skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Experience carrying out planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance
Requirements for the Field Service Engineer
- Experience working as a Field Service Engineer or similar role
- Ability to diagnose and repair both electrical and mechanical faults
- Experience working on industrial machinery or processing equipment
- Experience working within an engineering or manufacturing environment
