Field Service Specialist - Video Telematics
Field-based with travel | Full UK driving licence required
We’re looking for an experienced Field Service Specialist / Engineer to support the delivery of high-quality video telematics and connected fleet technology installations.
This is a hands-on technical role, but with a strong focus on quality assurance, documentation, installation standards, and continuous improvement. It would suit someone from a telematics, vehicle CCTV, MDVR/DVR, dashcam, tracking, auto-electrical, or fleet technology background who is confident working across commercial vehicles.
- Support pilot and first-of-type installations for new customers, vehicle types, hardware, and installation methods, capturing clear photos, notes, risks, and lessons learned.
- Help create and update practical Vehicle Installation Plans/Procedures, including mounting positions, cable routes, connection points, parts required, and testing steps.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
