IT Field Service Technician (Paid Training & Travel Covered)

We are hiring an IT Field Service Technician to support advanced medical training equipment used by hospitals, universities, and healthcare organizations. No two days are the same. You'll travel to customer sites, install equipment, perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and help ensure these cutting-edge training systems operate at peak performance.

What You'll Do
- Install and maintain patient simulation equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting
- Support Windows 11-based systems
- Connect devices to customer networks
- Travel to hospitals, universities, and training facilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service during onsite visits
- Document service work and system performance
Travel Requirements
This role involves travel throughout the region and requires flexibility Monday through Friday.
Important Details:
- Home on weekends
- Hotel accommodations provided when needed
- Flights provided for longer-distance assignments
- Mileage reimbursement after 30 miles
- Paid travel time
- All travel expenses covered
During the 13-week training period, candidates should expect travel Monday through Friday for classroom instruction and field shadowing.
What We're Looking For
- Basic IT troubleshooting experience
- Familiarity with Windows 11
- Understanding of networking fundamentals:
- TCP/IP
- DHCP
- IP Addressing
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Reliable transportation
- Mechanical or electronics aptitude is a plus
- Ability to travel Monday through Friday
Recent graduates, military veterans, IT support technicians, cable technicians, help desk professionals, and individuals with hands-on technical experience are encouraged to apply.

This is a Contract position based out of Rochester, NY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
