The Role
As a Field Service Technician, you will be a key part of the expanding European Field Service team based in Manchester in the UK providing customer support, as well as installing, upgrading, servicing, and repairing IMI and competitor products both on site and in the Manchester facility. The position offers a potential career journey potentially gaining a place on our renowned Valve Doctor Program.
Main Responsibilities
- On site and workshop troubleshooting and problem solving of issues with critical and severe service control valves.
- Taking the lead during manpower through outages as required.
- Develop innovative solutions to technical problems.
- Research, evaluate, and recommend new products or upgrades to resolve customer issues.
- Plan & supervise on site, working within time restraints to a specific scope of work.
- Identify, monitor and report issues or delays on site which are not the root cause of IMI but effect the ability to complete work within allotted time scales.

What We Are Looking For
- Experience or recognised apprenticeship / qualification
- Background / knowledge of the fossil power, oil & gas industry.
- Excellent problem solving and initiative skills.
- Competent IT skills.
- Available to travel all of UK and regularly within Europe as required.
