About the Role
Join Precor as a Field Service Technician supporting commercial fitness facilities throughout the Southeast region. In this role, you'll diagnose, repair, and maintain industry-leading Precor and Peloton Commercial fitness equipment while delivering exceptional service to our customers. If you enjoy solving technical problems, working independently, and spending your day on the road rather than behind a desk, this could be the perfect opportunity.
The ideal candidate must be capable of driving long distances between service stops throughout the day and performing physical tasks for the duration of their shift, Monday through Friday.
We are looking for a suitable candidate for the South East of England, ideally Maidstone or surrounding area.
Please note, Precor cannot provide VISA sponsorship or transfers at this time. Applicants must be authorized to work in the country without sponsorship both now and in the future.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the configuration, quality, and accuracy of Precor and Peloton products.
- Independently isolate and resolve issues raised by Precor customers.
- Troubleshoot Peloton and Precor product issues and effectively complete repairs.
- Understanding of spare parts and routine product repairs.
- Ensure specified processes, procedures, and reporting methods are followed.
- Perform preventive maintenance checks and adjustments.
- Perform product repairs and maintenance at fitness facilities and in-home.
- Provide outstanding customer service in educating customers on product repair, maintenance and usage.
- Serve as Precor product expert and brand ambassador.
- Ensure hardware, software and network of the product is functioning properly after each service.
- Properly record and replenish the inventory and spare parts in the service vehicle.
- Maintain company supplied vehicle in good working order.

Qualifications
- Associate degree in Electronics, Technical School certification as an Electronics Technician, or equivalent technical training preferred but not required
- 3+ years of experience in a technical customer service position
- Current valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment
- Good problem-solving skills, and the ability to troubleshoot problems and think on your feet
- Moderate computer skills, capable of excellent documentation and tracking data
- Maintain a safe and clean environment at all times
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. with assistance
- Flexible schedule required Monday through Friday, with availability to work weekends and holidays as needed by mutual agreement
