Field Service Engineer
Location: Southern Northern Ireland (Ideally Newry, Craigavon or surrounding areas)
The Opportunity
We're recruiting on behalf of a market-leading engineering business and exclusive UK & Ireland partner for a globally recognised manufacturer of automated storage systems. This home-based Field Service Engineer role covers Northern Ireland and occasionally the Republic of Ireland. You'll be responsible for servicing, maintaining and fault-finding on advanced electromechanical equipment used by major manufacturing, pharmaceutical, logistics and engineering organisations.
This is an excellent opportunity for an electrically qualified engineer seeking autonomy, specialist training and genuine earning potential through overtime.

Requirements
- Electrically qualified (Apprenticeship, NVQ, City & Guilds, HNC/HND or equivalent)
- Experience with 415V / 3-phase systems
- Strong electrical fault-finding skills
- Experience replacing motors, drives and electrical components
- Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics
- Full UK driving licence
- Comfortable working independently and at height

- Automated machinery

- Conveyors and production lines
- Industrial or manufacturing machinery
- Compressors and other electromechanical equipment

- Planned preventative maintenance and annual servicing
- Electrical and mechanical fault finding
- Breakdown response and repairs
- Component, motor and drive replacement
- Installation and commissioning support
- Equipment upgrades and modifications
- Customer technical support and service reporting
