Field Services Engineer

We’re hiring: Field Print Engineer – Sheffield & Doncaster (S & DN Postcodes) We’re looking for a hands-on Field Print Engineer to join our Service & Support team, covering the Sheffield and Doncaster areas.

This is a field-based role, visiting customer sites to install, maintain and repair printers and multifunction devices (MFPs). If you enjoy getting stuck into hardware, troubleshooting faults, and working directly with customers, this could be a great fit.

Please note: this is a print engineering role, not a general IT support position. We’re specifically looking for experience within the printer / copier / MFP industry.

What you’ll be doing: Attending customer sites to diagnose and repair faults on printers and MFP devices Carrying out installations, routine maintenance and device updates Responding to service calls within agreed SLAs Logging and managing jobs accurately Identifying recurring issues and supporting proactive fixes Building strong relationships with customers and delivering excellent service

What we’re looking for: Proven experience as a Print Engineer / Copier Engineer / MFP Engineer Strong fault-finding skills on print devices (not just IT systems) A practical, hands-on approach to problem solving Great communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently in a field-based role Relevant qualification (e.g. City & Guilds) or equivalent experience
