Base salary from £27,000 per annum, with higher salaries available depending on skills, experience and qualifications.

Choice of company vehicle or use of your own vehicle with business mileage paid at HMRC-approved rates.

We are a well-established, independent Canon MFD specialist, proudly supporting businesses since 2009. As our customer base continues to grow, we're looking for a motivated Field Service Engineer to join our team.

Whether you're an experienced engineer or have strong technical aptitude and the right attitude, we'll provide the training and support you need to succeed.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Visiting customer sites to install, maintain and repair Canon multifunction devices and print solutions
  • Using advanced remote diagnostic and support tools to identify issues before arriving on-site
  • Diagnosing electrical, mechanical and basic network-related faults
  • Delivering exceptional customer service and building strong client relationships
  • Working independently while being fully supported by an experienced technical team
  • Maintaining accurate service reports and documentation

What We're Looking For

  • Good electrical and mechanical aptitude
  • Basic IT and networking knowledge
  • A logical approach to fault finding and problem solving
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Self-motivation and the ability to work independently
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn

No Industry Experience? No Problem.

If you have experience in a technical, engineering or hands-on role, we'll provide full Canon-accredited manufacturer training and ongoing support.

We particularly welcome applications from candidates with experience in:

  • Field Service Engineering
  • Electrical or Mechanical Maintenance
  • Automotive Diagnostics and Repair
  • IT Support or Network Installation
  • White Goods Repair
  • Ex-Forces Technical Trades
  • Production or Manufacturing Engineering

Essential Requirements

  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Ability to pass a DBS check
  • Willingness to travel throughout Devon, Cornwall and Somerset
  • Ideally based within Devon, Cornwall or Somerset
