About the Role
We’re searching for a Field Service Engineer (Level 2) to drive exceptional technical service across the UK (operating between Manchester and Carlisle). As part of our team, you’ll:
- Provide onsite installation, maintenance, and repairs to ensure equipment optimisation
- Troubleshoot issues and deliver timely, client-focused solutions
- Cultivate strong customer relationships through expertise and proactive problem-solving

Work structure:
- 4-day work week + weekend call-out rota (1 in 4)

Responsibilities
Core Duties
- Conduct onsite installations, maintenance, and repairs of hygiene/water-treatment equipment
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems efficiently
- Work closely with customers to assess needs and provide bespoke service solutions
- Document service activities, repairs, and maintenance accurately
- Offer customer training on equipment usage and upkeep
- Comply with health and safety standards at all times
- Stay updated on industry advancements to elevate service standards
- Handle chemicals safely in line with COSHH regulations
Qualifications & Requirements
Required
- N/SVQ or equivalent qualification/certification in plumbing or heating
- Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer/Plumber (preferred)
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, or electronic systems in water-treatment environments (desirable)
- Valid driving licence ((Great Britain)
- Strong problem-solving skills and under-pressure decision-making
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities
- Self-motivation, ethical work ethics, and adaptability to irregular hours
