Field Service Engineer
Midlands based (travel to client sites)
Monday – Thursday 8am – 4.30pm and Friday 8am - 3.30pm – Overtime is x1.5
£35,000 - £42,000 plus car/car allowance, bonus and benefits
A number of Field Service Engineers are wanted on a permanent basis by a global client of ours who is at the forefront of their industry and going through a real period of growth. In this role you will work across several of my clients customer sites throughout the UK, providing best in class technical support to customers for products to ensure system and product safety, uptime, and availability in support for customers productivity to improve their satisfaction.
This is a permanent opportunity that includes a base salary of between £38,000 - £42,000 dependent upon experience plus bonus and benefits.

- Conduct key operational activities, such as installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Edwards products, to achieve a first-time fix rate (FTFR) of over 95%, while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Develop your knowledge and skills as a Field Service Engineer. You will be expected to advance to more complex product ranges after completion of applicable product training.
- Work with company processes and operating platforms to accurately capture service-related information as determined by the scope of responsibility for creation of field service notifications and orders, through to the completion of work orders.
Key skills required for the Field Service Engineer role:
- Previous field service experience in a relevant or related industry, ideally customer facing with Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering expert
- Strong customer focus to ensure delivered solutions meet customer expectations and timeframes, whilst working in alignment with company strategies and processes.
- Self-directed, with the ability to understand and resolve problems aligned with job responsibilities and escalates through the appropriate channels when required.
- Possess clean driving license.
