Job Title: Field Service Engineer

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 + Company Vehicle & Benefits
Overview
Due to continued growth, a leading independent provider of Critical Power solutions is seeking experienced Generator Service Engineers to join its expanding field service team.
This is an excellent opportunity to work with a well-established organisation supporting customers across a range of sectors, carrying out the service, maintenance and repair of generators, UPS systems and associated critical power equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Service, maintain, test and repair generators, UPS systems and associated critical power equipment
- Carry out fault finding, diagnostics and repairs on customer sites
- Conduct equipment inspections, site surveys and load bank testing
- Support the installation and commissioning of new critical power systems
- Plan and supervise on-site activities, ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with company procedures
- Provide technical support to customers and colleagues where required
- Complete service reports and maintenance documentation accurately and on time

Requirements
- Proven experience servicing, maintaining and fault finding on generators and critical power equipment
- Engineering qualification such as NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent
- Strong electrical and/or mechanical engineering knowledge
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills
- Full UK driving licence
