Role Overview
Position: Field Service Engineer Location: South West London and Surrey (Ideally based in Epsom, Sutton, Dorking, or Kingston Upon Thames) Job Type: Full-time, Permanent (Mon-Fri daytime, weekend cover on rota – 1-in-4) Salary: £35,000–£37,000 per annum D.O.E., plus 13 guaranteed weekend OT (≈10% additional pay, regardless of callouts) + performance-based bonuses Benefits:

Purpose of the Role
As a Field Service Engineer, you will be the face of the company, responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing coffee equipment across our customer portfolio.
Each day is diverse, combining planned maintenance with reactive fault calls for machine breakdowns. After completing your full training, you’ll have support from our Technical Team to schedule your work independently—balancing customer needs, safety regulations, and cost-efficiency.
You’ll track parts usage to maintain optimal stock levels and achieve our ‘First Time Fix’ KPIs, with allocations tailored to your assigned area. Job support comes from seasoned engineers nearby, and continuous training will be provided.
Your responsibilities include:
- Acting independently but with team backup when needed.
- Ensuring prompt, efficient, and customer-focused fault resolution.
- Adhering to safety and legislative standards.
Experience & Qualifications
Essential requirements:
✔ At least 1 year of experience in a Field Service role. ✔ Strong electrical and mechanical maintenance knowledge. ✔ Proven success in customer-facing service environments.

Preferred skills:
• City & Guilds certificate (or equivalent) in Electrical/Mechanical (or workplace experience). • Outstanding customer communication & service skills. • Ability to interpret technical diagrams/manuals. • Track record of exceeding KPIs. • Full UK driving licence.
Personal attributes:
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively. • Logical, methodical fault-finding approach. • Strong time management and reliability.
