Field Supervisor

Role Purpose
The Schemes Supervisor will support the Operations Manager in the planning, coordination, and delivery of sewer rehabilitation works. The role bridges field supervision and operational management, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with client requirements.
The role requires strong technical understanding of CIPP lining processes, leadership of site teams, and the ability to coordinate resources, logistics, and programme delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Delivery
- Support the Operations Manager in the delivery of lining projects across multiple crews and work sites.
- Oversee daily operations to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to required quality standards.
- Coordinate labour, plant, and materials to maintain programme delivery.
- Monitor project progress and identify potential risks to programme or productivity.
- Ensure lining works are carried out in accordance with company procedures, technical specifications, and client requirements.

Site Supervision & Leadership
- Provide leadership and guidance to lining crews, supervisors, and operatives.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor performance, safety compliance, and quality.
- Support supervisors in resolving operational issues on site.
- Promote high standards of safety, workmanship, and professionalism across all teams.
Planning & Coordination
- Assist with short-term and medium-term operational planning.
- Coordinate with scheduling teams to ensure efficient deployment of crews and equipment.
- Work with procurement and logistics teams to ensure materials and equipment are available when required.
- Support the mobilisation of new projects and operational start-ups.
Health, Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental requirements.
- Support the implementation of company HSEQ procedures and best practice.
- Assist with incident investigations and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Promote a strong safety culture across the lining division.
Quality Assurance
- Ensure lining installations meet technical specifications and quality standards.
- Monitor curing records, installation data, and QA documentation.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and efficiency.

Client & Stakeholder Interaction
- Represent the company professionally when interacting with clients, inspectors, and local stakeholders.
- Assist in resolving operational issues affecting programme or delivery.
- Maintain strong working relationships with client representatives.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Experience within CIPP lining / trenchless rehabilitation.
- Proven experience supervising lining crews or operational teams.
- Strong knowledge of lining installation methods and site practices.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple sites or teams simultaneously.
- Strong communication and leadership ability.
