Job Title: Field Team Leader

Location: Tay (Scotland)

Salary: £37,003


Hydrosave is a leading specialist pipeline inspection, leak detection, valve maintenance and water audit company. The business is dedicated to finding new ways to optimise the efficient use, maintenance and management of water networks.

Hydrosave works as a tier one framework supplier to UK water utilities and as a trusted partner to consultants, contractors and commercial water customers. Focusing purely on underground infrastructure, innovation and specialist expertise is the focus: our people are water industry experts with unparalleled experience and in-depth knowledge of their technical disciplines.


The Role

  • Lead field teams in identifying and accurately pinpointing leaks across the Scottish Water Network.
  • Utilise specialist leakage detection methods, technology, and industry best practices to deliver first-class service.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments to ensure safety remains the highest priority on all jobs.
  • Support and guide team members to maintain high operational standards and effective field performance.
  • Liaise with clients and customers, ensuring exceptional service and responsiveness to their needs.
  • Produce accurate reports and documentation relating to leak findings and field activities.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety protocols and company procedures.
  • Coordinate daily work plans, resources, and priorities to meet project and client requirements.
  • Mentor and develop field staff, sharing technical knowledge and best practice.
  • Represent Hydrosave UK Ltd professionally while working independently across outdoor environments.

What You’ll Need

  • Possess the technical knowledge and skills necessary for providing first-class service in Leakage Detection & Management, with a strong understanding of detection methods, technologies, and industry best practices.
  • Show flexibility and adaptability to meet client needs, ensuring all customer service standards are exceptional.
  • Strong commitment to health and safety protocols.
  • Proven customer service skills.
  • Previous work history in the same or similar outdoor role.
  • Full and valid Driving license issued in the UK / EU.
  • Living or relocating to Ayr Region.
  • Pass Background and Drug and Alcohol screening.
