Role Description

This is a full-time, FIELD TECHNICAL SUPPORT / SALES ENGINEER USA role based in the United States of America. The role involves providing technical support for KENRAY customers and assisting them to select and order appropriate equipment for their packaging solutions.

The individual will work closely with customers to understand their production requirements, recommend appropriate technical solutions, and support installation, commissioning, and optimization of forming sets and ancillary products.

Daily tasks include:

  • Preparing technical proposals
  • Assisting with sales presentations
  • Handling customer inquiries
  • Maintaining accurate documentation of service visits and sales activities

The role also requires collaboration with internal engineering, R&D, and production teams to feedback market and technical insights, ensuring continuous improvement in product performance and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Strong Sales Engineering and Sales skills, with the ability to translate technical features into customer-focused benefits.
  • Effective Technical Support skills, including troubleshooting, problem-solving, and understanding of mechanical or packaging machinery.
  • Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills, with the ability to build long-term relationships and manage expectations professionally.
  • Familiarity with food and/or pharmaceutical packaging environments, VFFS machinery, or related industrial equipment.
  • Relevant technical qualification (e.g., degree or diploma in engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field) or equivalent practical experience.
  • Ability to travel to customer sites, work hands-on with equipment, and operate safely within production environments.
  • Strong organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple customer tasks, maintain accurate records, and follow established quality procedures.
  • Comfort working in a cross-functional, international environment
