Job Opportunity
We are looking for a talented professional to join a leading IT services environment on an initial 6-month contract with strong extension potential.
📍 Location: Glasgow, G2 6AY, UK
📅 Contract: 6 Months (Extendable)
💼 Role: FSO Technical Support Engineer
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Deskside, OSS, and Field Services Support across desktop and end-user technologies.
- Support and troubleshoot:
- Desktop PCs & Laptops
- Tablets & Smartphones
- Desk Telephony
- Audio Visual (AV) Equipment
- Software Installations
- Network & Desk Cabling
- Comms Room Devices & Activities
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, operating system, driver, and application-related issues.
- Provide VIP/Executive-level technical support.
- Deliver remote and on-site Smart Hands support services.
- Manage IT incidents, requests, escalations, and service tickets.
- Support IT asset management and technology lifecycle activities.
- Participate in event support, AV readiness, and business-critical operational activities.

Required Experience

- Minimum 4+ years of IT Support / Deskside Support experience
- Strong experience with:
- Windows 10 & Windows 11 Build, Deployment & Support
- Hardware & Software Troubleshooting
- Mobile Device Support & Device Enrollment
- OS Imaging and Deployment
- IT Incident & Request Management
- Asset Management
- Experience supporting:
- Virtual Desktop Environments
- Device Health Monitoring (DEX)
- Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
- Executive/VIP Users
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Customer-first mindset
- Ability to work independently
- Willingness and ability to travel to remote locations when required.
