Job Opportunity

We are looking for a talented professional to join a leading IT services environment on an initial 6-month contract with strong extension potential.

📍 Location: Glasgow, G2 6AY, UK
📅 Contract: 6 Months (Extendable)
💼 Role: FSO Technical Support Engineer

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide Deskside, OSS, and Field Services Support across desktop and end-user technologies.
  • Support and troubleshoot:
    • Desktop PCs & Laptops
    • Tablets & Smartphones
    • Desk Telephony
    • Audio Visual (AV) Equipment
    • Software Installations
    • Network & Desk Cabling
    • Comms Room Devices & Activities
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, operating system, driver, and application-related issues.
  • Provide VIP/Executive-level technical support.
  • Deliver remote and on-site Smart Hands support services.
  • Manage IT incidents, requests, escalations, and service tickets.
  • Support IT asset management and technology lifecycle activities.
  • Participate in event support, AV readiness, and business-critical operational activities.

  • Minimum 4+ years of IT Support / Deskside Support experience
  • Strong experience with:
    • Windows 10 & Windows 11 Build, Deployment & Support
    • Hardware & Software Troubleshooting
    • Mobile Device Support & Device Enrollment
    • OS Imaging and Deployment
    • IT Incident & Request Management
    • Asset Management
  • Experience supporting:
    • Virtual Desktop Environments
    • Device Health Monitoring (DEX)
    • Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
    • Executive/VIP Users
  • Excellent communication skills
    • Strong verbal and written communication
    • Customer-first mindset
    • Ability to work independently
  • Willingness and ability to travel to remote locations when required.
