Job Opportunity: Panel Assembler

We are looking to recruit a Panel Assembler to work in our busy manufacturing & production area. You will work within a team to manufacture high quality products for our external customers.

Responsibilities

  • Assembling Fire control panels
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment.

Skills, Experience and Person Specification

  • Full training will be given.
  • An understanding of electrical/mechanical specifications and the ability to understand and work from PAFs would be beneficial.
  • Familiar with basic assembly techniques.
  • Versatile to use a range of hand and electrical tools.
  • Willing to learn new assembly techniques using a variety of equipment.
  • Practice safe work habits and report unsafe conditions to the supervisor/team leader.
  • Good problem-solving and team-working skills. Also, be able to work under own initiative.
  • Preferably gained experience through a similar role.

Job Specifics

  • Working hours: Monday to Thursday 14:00 – 22:00 and 13.00 – 20.00 with 30 minutes for lunch, after a training period from 08.00 - 16.30.
  • Friday: Leave one hour earlier than your contracted finish time every Friday (will be paid)
