Graduate jobs
Start exploring graduate opportunities, completing applications and submitting them. Practise your interview techniques and try psychometric tests, which are often used as part of the recruitment process. Preparing early will help you feel more confident and ready. Many graduate schemes with big-name employers close before the end of the year, so don’t leave it too late to start searching.
Postgraduate courses
Considering further study but not sure what course is right for you? It’s time to get researching! Make sure you keep an eye on application deadlines so you don’t miss out.

April to June
Broaden your horizons
Still unsure of your post-university path? You're not alone. Plenty of graduates are undecided about their perfect career. Whether you go to work with an SME, consider recruitment agencies or want to know your options, there are plenty of routes to choose from.
What happens next?
You’re focused on exams – we understand. But once you’ve finished them, it’s time to seriously start focusing on your next steps. If you haven’t found a job yet, don’t panic – there are plenty of opportunities on Aston Futures, as well as other job sites. If you’re struggling with anything, make sure to book an appointment with a Careers Consultant
