Finance Accountant - Cash Accounting

Finance Accountant

Our international online business is expanding rapidly, with over 90 localised websites serving customers around the world. To support our continued growth, we’re looking for a skilled and motivated Finance Accountant to join our Cash Accounting team.

As a Fininance Accountant, you'll be at the heart of our international cash accounting operations. This role encompasses financial, operational, and management duties, including:

  • Reconciling customer payments,
  • Managing costs across multiple international entities, and
  • Maintaining strong audit and control procedures.

Your expertise will be critical for supporting our financial stability and strategic global growth.


What you will bring

  • Team Leadership: Support and mentor a team of 2 part-qualified accountants.
  • Forecasting & Reporting: Deliver accurate reporting and forecasting for costs and tenders across multiple countries and entities.
  • Financial Controls: Maintain strict controls over debtor movements and cash flow.
  • VAT Management: Oversee VAT records and ensure compliance with new projects and regulations.
  • Cash Flow Oversight: Monitor daily cash inflows from global payment providers.
  • Foreign Exchange Management: Identify, evaluate, and mitigate FX charges and risks.
  • Audit Coordination: Facilitate efficient multi-entity audits with external auditors.
  • Relationship Management: Oversee third-party service providers, ensuring compliance with contracts and service levels.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain trusted relationships with internal and external partners.

What you will need

We’re seeking a self-motivated, commercially aware professional with:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) with relevant industry experience.
  • Adaptability and strong organisational skills, thriving in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Proactive mindset, capable of making decisions and implementing process improvements.
  • Clear communication skills—ability to explain complex financial issues confidently and collaborate across teams.
  • Results-driven approach, committed to operational excellence and continuous improvement.

This is an office-based role.
