About the Role
Deliver exceptional support to our Finance Administration function. This high-impact role involves a blend of financial precision, administrative acumen, and frontline customer service. If you thrive on structure, blending accounts payable/receivable, systems management, and social housing expertise, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service Excellence
- Deliver high-standard internal and external support to stakeholders.
- Ensure professional, prompl responses to all finance-related queries.

Accounts Payable & Reconciliation
- Process AP invoices, record updates (input/validation), and resolve discrepancies.
- Reconcile supplier statements to maintenance system accuracy.
- First-level escalation to supplier queries, maintaining transparent communication.

Accounts Receivable & Cash Management
- Issue/amend AR invoices and credit notes, with dual duties in associated requests.
- Administer petty cash payments, daily cash handling, and reconciliations.
- Liaise with residents and vendors to ensure seamless transaction processes.

Specialist Administrative Support
- Assist with Right to Buy (RTB) and Right to Acquire (RTA) schemes (including DSYM1, form preparation, and team liaison).
- Act as first contact for frontline insurance claims—coordinate, provide guidance, and log claims for further review.

Must-Have Skills & Experience
✅ Core Competencies
- Proven knowledge of accounts payable and receivable workflows and compliance standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages, with automated OR precise manual processes.
- Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively under tight deadlines.
- Outstanding communication skills—written and verbal—with an unwavering eye for accuracy.
✅ TechnicalProficiency
- Exposure/comfort working with finance management software (e.g., Myob, Sage, rent collection systems).
Nice-to-Haves
✔ Experience accommodating sector-specific accounting (e.g., housing associations, or social housing). ✔ Partially qualified with the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT). ✔ Familiarity with RTB/RTA processes, benefits, and claim nuitances. ✔ Ability to speak/communicate effectively in multiple languages
