Your new company

Hays are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a highly respected public sector organisation for a Temporary Finance Administrator to join their finance team in Belfast and is seeking additional support during a busy period.

Your new role

  • Processing supplier invoices and supporting payment runs.
  • Maintaining financial records, ledgers and supporting documentation.
  • Assisting with claims processing, financial reconciliations and administrative finance activities.
  • Supporting reporting, forecasting and audit preparation.
  • Preparing spreadsheets, reports and other financial information using Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Liaising with internal colleagues and external stakeholders as required.
  • Supporting finance systems administration and continuous process improvements

What you'll need to succeed

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience within a financial environment.
  • Experience processing invoices, maintaining financial records and working with financial spreadsheets.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills.
  • Experience using electronic finance systems.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
