Position: Finance Administrator (Maternity Cover)

Location: Labman HQ, Seamer, North Yorkshire
Salary: £29,000 pro rated
Employment Type: Part-Time (25 hours per week) | Fixed-Term Maternity Cover | 6 months with a view to extend

About the Role

We're looking for a Finance Administrator to join our Finance team on a part-time maternity cover basis. Reporting to the Transactional Finance Team Leader, you'll support Accounts Receivable, cashbook administration, customer collections, and supplier invoice query resolution.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Raising customer invoices and credit notes
  • Managing customer accounts and credit control activities
  • Processing and reconciling cashbook and company card transactions
  • Allocating customer receipts and supplier payments
  • Investigating and resolving invoice queries
  • Supporting bank reconciliations and month-end activities
  • Maintaining accurate financial records and audit trails

What You'll Need

  • Experience within a finance or accounting administration role
  • Knowledge of Accounts Receivable and cashbook processes
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to investigate and resolve financial queries

Desirable Skills

  • Experience using Sage Intacct
  • Accounts Payable experience
  • Previous experience supporting month-end processes
