Position: Finance Administrator (Maternity Cover)
Location: Labman HQ, Seamer, North Yorkshire
Salary: £29,000 pro rated
Employment Type: Part-Time (25 hours per week) | Fixed-Term Maternity Cover | 6 months with a view to extend
About the Role
We're looking for a Finance Administrator to join our Finance team on a part-time maternity cover basis. Reporting to the Transactional Finance Team Leader, you'll support Accounts Receivable, cashbook administration, customer collections, and supplier invoice query resolution.
What You'll Be Doing
- Raising customer invoices and credit notes
- Managing customer accounts and credit control activities
- Processing and reconciling cashbook and company card transactions
- Allocating customer receipts and supplier payments
- Investigating and resolving invoice queries
- Supporting bank reconciliations and month-end activities
- Maintaining accurate financial records and audit trails

What You'll Need
- Experience within a finance or accounting administration role
- Knowledge of Accounts Receivable and cashbook processes
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organisational and communication skills
- Ability to investigate and resolve financial queries
Desirable Skills
- Experience using Sage Intacct
- Accounts Payable experience
- Previous experience supporting month-end processes
