Finance Administrator
Finance Assistant (Hybrid – Oxford)
Our client, a growing firm in the professional services sector, is seeking a Finance Assistant to join their Oxford-based Finance team, providing support for day-to-day finance operations.
This is a rare opportunity to work for a forward-thinking organisation, offering a hybrid working arrangement.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining an accurate purchase ledger
- Processing purchase invoices, credit notes, expenses, and credit card statements
- Reconciling supplier statements and resolving queries
- Preparing supplier payment runs and remittances
- Posting disbursements to the WIP ledger
- Performing bank reconciliations
- Ensuring the maintenance of accurate financial records and documented processes

About You
- Experience in a similar role in finance or transactional operations (e.g., accounts payable/receivable, finance assistant)
- Exposure to month-end processes and reconciliations
- Experience in a professional services environment is desirable
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Good working knowledge of Excel, including formulas, lookup functions, and basic data analysis
- Additional benefit: Experience with finance systems (e.g., Sage, Xero)
