About The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance Analyst to join a leading global manufacturing organization’s commercial finance team based in Doncaster, with a hybrid working model. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified or newly qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent) to develop their career within a fast-paced, international environment. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing insightful financial analysis, supporting strategic decision-making, and enhancing the organization’s financial performance. You will work closely with various stakeholders across the business, contributing to budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Part-qualified or newly qualified accountant with CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience in a finance analyst, management accounts, or commercial finance role.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate key insights effectively.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, KPI reporting, and variance analysis.
- Proficiency in Excel, including the ability to work with large data sets and advanced functions.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at various levels.
- A proactive attitude with keen attention to detail and the capability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
Responsibilities
The core responsibilities of the Finance Analyst include, but are not limited to:
- Supporting month-end reporting processes and conducting detailed financial performance analysis.
- Assisting in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans to support business objectives.
- Producing variance analysis reports to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Delivering actionable financial insights to aid commercial and operational decision-making.
- Responding promptly to ad-hoc reporting requests from various stakeholders across the organization.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of financial reporting and analysis processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Building and maintaining strong working relationships with finance and non-finance teams to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
