Finance Analyst

Senior Finance Manager – Ireland Entity (Financial Reporting & Controls)

This is a high-impact role with ownership of the Ireland entity (approx. 23 employees), where you will act as the key finance partner, responsible for accurate financial reporting, controls, and forecasting.


About the Role

Working as part of the wider North West Europe (NW Europe) team (covering UK, Ireland & Israel), this position offers strong exposure across reporting, controls, and business partnering, ideal for someone seeking ownership in a business undergoing rapid growth and transformation.

You will:

  • Drive month-end close, reconciliations, and group consolidation submissions.
  • Provide strategic financial support during transformation projects.
  • Contribute to mid-month regional activities (UK) when quiet periods arise.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Control Ownership

  • Own entire financial reporting cycle for the Irish entity, including:
    • Month-end close procedures
    • Detailed reconciliations
    • Submission to the group consolidation system
  • Manage revenue recognition and accounting for complex contracts
  • Prepare critical forecasts, budgets, and cash flow reports
  • Liaise with group finance teams on entity performance

Operational & Compliance Support

  • Oversee ** banking, payments, and cash management**
  • Coordinate payroll activities and local regulatory compliance
  • Support statutory accounts, tax submissions, and external audit processes
  • Maintain/enhance financial controls aligned with group policies

Strategic Business Partnering

  • Partner with operational teams across Ireland and the NW Europe region
  • Collaborate on UK finance transformation initiatives
  • Influence finance processes during a time of business growth

Requirements

Essential

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
  • Proven experience in financial reporting and/or group accounting
  • Deep ledger experience (handling reconciliations, period-end closings)
  • Independence and ownership—able to manage an entire entity autonomously
  • Strong Excel proficiency with meticulous attention to detail

Desirable (No Hard Requirements)

  • SAP or Oracle HFM experience
  • IFRS 16 & IFRS 9 familiarity
  • Hands-on experience with consolidation or reporting systems
