The Role: Commercial Finance Analyst
You’ll join our fast-paced Commercial Finance Team, aiding critical decision-making to driven profit growth. Key responsibilities include technical finance analysis, engagement with cross-functional teams, and proficiency in advanced financial tools.
Core Responsibilities

Maintain customer pricing accuracy in the SAP system.

Analyse & approve monthly sales forecasts for major account clients.

Conduct promotion profitability assessments.

Reconcile trade agreement balances with Trade Agreements clients.

Partner with commercial teams to align strategy with financial feasibility.

Develop P&Ls for novel biscuit concepts, providing insights on:
- Financial viability assessments
- Strategic viability recommendations

Work collaboratively with factories to:
- Understand raw inputs and production costs
- Implement benchmarking and cost efficiencies

Achieve proficiency in key systems:
- SAP, Invest, Oracle, Power BI, PowerPoint, Excel
- TM1

Collaborate closely with Sales to build financial models (e.g.: volume and gross contribution tracking) to support data-driven strategic decisions.

Lead ad hoc projects such as:
- Range rationalisation
- Inflation analysis assessments

Requirements
We’re looking for a strong financial mind with these attributes:
Qualifications/Background:
- Finance/Business/Accounting/Economic degree (or equivalent qualification)
- Part-qualified in a relevant accountancy body (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent)
Skills & Attributes:
- Analytical aptitude—ability to handle complex financial data.
- Fast learner adept at mastering systems and processes.
- High interpersonal skills—role collaboration across teams.
- Strong attention to detail with a track record of producing precise outputs.
- Problem-solving mindset—comfortable navigating challenges to deliver solutions.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and team-focused.
