Finance Analyst Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Finance Management Team at South Central Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust for a Finance Analyst. We are seeking an enthusiastic, highly motivated, and adaptable individual to support the Finance Manager.
Role Requirements
The successful candidate will be either AAT-qualified, part-qualified and currently studying towards a CIMA or ACCA qualification, or possess equivalent finance experience gained through working in a similar role.
They will have excellent IT skills, strong communication abilities, and the confidence to build effective working relationships and influence senior managers and clinicians across the Trust.
The role requires the ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment, with strong organisational skills and the ability to effectively prioritise competing demands.
Role Essentials
This is a hybrid role based in Bicester, Oxfordshire. While there is some opportunity for home working, the position is not flexible and requires regular attendance at the Bicester office, with a minimum of one day per week on site. Right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship available)
Working within the finance team, the post holder will be responsible for the preparation of budgets and the maintenance of strong budgetary controls. Provision of high quality financial information and guidance to budget holders. Maintenance of the financial ledgers and production of standard monthly, quarterly and annual reports as well as ad hoc reporting and costing information.
