Main Responsibilities

  • Data & trend analysis:

    • Analyse complex financial and operational data, including currencies, languages, and structural differences across multiple countries, to unearth trends, risks, opportunities, and primary KPI drivers.
    • Translate data into actionable insights, directly feeding into strategic and tactical decision-making.
  • Leadership reporting:

    • Prepare high-impact board-level reporting packs for Budget, Forecasts, EC Requests, and leadership meetings, ensuring information is relevant, accurate, concise, and insightful.
    • Provide confidence to steering groups that financial analyses and business plans require robust validation.
  • Operational financial processes:

    • Monthly close support: Conduct detailed variance analysis, trend reporting, and financial modelling to quantify performance.
    • Forecasting & annual planning: Work with senior leadership to finalise ** month-end/month-on-month (MoM/UoM comparison) reporting commentary, ** 0-12 monthly reporting, and ** 5-year rolling forecasts; support preparation of planned vs. actual variances, rolling 5-year forecasts, and multi-period reports.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
